Long story short, the city of Ottawa is building a subway. In the meantime, they are closing the bus only road (called the transit way) and painted new bus only lanes on the main highway through town. Those new lanes opened on Sunday June 28th.
Today my friend posted on facebook. The new bus route appears to be going well so far. Here we see the bus driver holding his head in his palms as he has managed to pilot the bus the wrong way down an 8 lane divided highway.

At least he realized his mistake and feels bad about it, that shows a higher intelligence level than most of our TTC drivers.
